Our tour of Jebel Um Adaami, the highest mountain in Jordan, promises high rewards for an accessible climb. The top of the mountain, which straddles Jordan and Saudi Arabia, provides panoramic views of the two countries. The red sands of the Wadi Rum lie in the the north east, while the black mountains of Saudi Arabia sit in the south. The walk usually takes about 3-4 hours (including a Jeep transfer) and you will be provided with a Bedouin Guide. The tour includes a lunch served by your guide on the mountain. After climbing back down we will return you to Wadi Rum village, and if required, we would be happy arrange transport to your next destination.
It is possible to do the climb and leave Rum in one day, but if you wish, you may also stay the night in our lovely Bedouin camp sites. Accommodation in the camp is varied, depending on your preferences. We have spacious black sheep skin tents for your private sleeping quarters. At the camp, we serve a traditional Bedouin dinner cooked under the sand of the desert, drink tea, converse and play traditional music by the campfire. This comfortable overnight say is an additional 15 JD / person.
Please note that if you wish to add or change anything to this tour we will happily do so.
